Technical SEO checks in seconds
Many ranking problems start with how a server responds before a single word of the page is read. A page that returns an error, a redirect that goes through three hops, or a temporary redirect used for a permanent move can all hold a page back in search results without anything looking wrong in the browser.
The HTTP Status Code Checker checks up to 20 URLs at once and shows the status code, response time and headers for each. The Redirect Checker traces every hop of a redirect and flags chains, loops, 302s and redirects that drop from https to http, with advice on how to fix each one. Both can check as a normal browser, as Googlebot or as Bingbot.
When to use them
Run a check after a site migration or redesign, when you switch to https, when Google Search Console reports crawl or redirect errors, and every few months on the URLs that earn your most important backlinks. For on-page work, the Keyword Density Checker and Word Counter help you review the content itself.
