How to use the case converter

Title Case vs Capitalize Each Word
These two look similar but follow different rules. Capitalize Each Word puts a capital letter at the start of every word, including short ones like "of" and "the". Title Case follows headline style: it keeps small words such as articles, short prepositions and conjunctions in lowercase unless they are the first or last word. Use Title Case for headlines you plan to publish, and Capitalize Each Word when every word must start with a capital, such as a list of names.
Converting code identifiers
The programming cases split your text into words on spaces, punctuation and existing capital letters. That means you can turn userAccountId into user_account_id or user-account-id and back again. Each line is converted separately, so you can paste a whole column of names at once.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a limit on how much text I can convert?
No fixed limit. The conversion runs in your browser, so tens of thousands of words convert instantly on a normal computer or phone.
Does the converter keep my line breaks and punctuation?
Yes. Only the letters change. Line breaks, spaces, numbers and punctuation stay exactly where they were, except in the programming cases, which join words with underscores, hyphens or nothing.
Why are some small words lowercase in Title Case?
Headline style keeps articles (a, an, the), short conjunctions (and, but, or) and short prepositions (in, on, of, to) lowercase unless they start or end the title. This matches common style guides such as Chicago and APA.
Is my text saved or sent anywhere?
No. All conversion happens on your device. Nothing is uploaded, logged or stored.
